WHO AM I

I’m a screenwriter and filmmaker who gravitates toward stories with emotional stakes, flawed characters, and an edge of humor. I’ve had screenplays and short films recognized at festivals around the world, including Paris Awards Film Festival, London Director Awards, Toronto Film Awards, Berlin Indie, and many others. Whether it’s comedy, thriller, drama, or something more unusual, I’m always chasing stories that feel alive and human.

The name came from a moment that stuck with me. I was holding a small sledgehammer in one hand and my late wife’s Agatha Christie Montblanc pen in the other, realizing that storytelling requires both force and delicacy. That moment became the symbol of Scriptsmith Filmworks, a reminder that stories are built with heart, precision, and resilience. Her love for mysteries continues to guide my work.
